Starch Free Sunday & Creative Veggies

Today's Rule: No starches all day, meaning no potatoes, white flour, rice, or beans. Have all the fibrous veggies you want.

Why:  Controls weekly carb intake and aligns with a Modified Keto Diet. Sunday is the reset button. We are dropping the water weight and flattening your blood sugar so you wake up Monday morning lean, light, and ready to dominate.


Your Action Plan:

  • Focus On: High-quality proteins, healthy fats, and non-starchy green vegetables (broccoli, asparagus, spinach).
  • Avoid: Potatoes, rice, oats, heavy root vegetables, and all grains.

The Lesson:  Because you are avoiding starches today, it's a great time to get creative with fibrous veggies. You can create an awesome salad by mixing soft leaves like spinach, crunchy leaves like romaine, fresh herbs, and toppings like sliced cucumber or bell pepper. You can also steam veggies like broccoli for about 5 minutes, or roast vegetables in the oven at 375-400F for 15-20 minutes.


Mindful Habit Challenge:  Try preparing a vegetable today using a method you don't typically use (steaming, roasting, or stir-frying).
